    Fill out the quick form with your machine's specs: model, processor, memory, storage, condition, and add photos if you can. Takes about two minutes, and the more you tell us, the better we can help.

  2. We review and follow up

    A real DC Computers tech reviews what you sent, usually within one business day, and tells you the next step. For a Mac, come on in and we check it on the spot, with a real offer in about 10 to 15 minutes. For a gaming PC or gaming laptop, we confirm your asking price is in the right range, then set up a drop-off so we can properly test it before we make an offer.

  3. Bring it in, get your offer

    We inspect the machine in person at our Hillcrest shop and confirm the final offer on the spot. Take it as a trade-in toward anything in the store, or sell it outright, your call, zero obligation either way.

How fast will I get an offer?
Macs: usually on the spot, about 10 to 15 minutes in-store. Gaming PCs and gaming laptops: these take real bench testing, so you'll drop the machine off and we'll get back to you with an offer after evaluation.
Why do you ask my asking price for gaming PCs?
Gaming builds vary wildly in parts and value. Knowing the number you have in mind lets us make sure we're in the same ballpark before we invest hours of testing, it saves us both time.
How do you decide what my computer is worth?
We look at what machines with your exact specs and condition actually sell for, minus the work we'll put in to test, wipe, and refurbish it. That's why we ask for real specs up front, it lets us give you a tight, honest range instead of a vague guess.
Trade-in credit or selling outright, which is better?
If you're upgrading, trade-in credit applies directly to anything in the store, it's the fastest path to your next machine. If you just want out, we'll buy it outright. Either way the inspection and offer process is the same.
What about my data?
Every machine we take in is fully and securely wiped as part of our process. If you need help backing up or migrating your data to a new machine first, that's a service we offer, just ask.
My computer doesn't work. Can I still sell it?
Often, yes, dead machines can still have real value in their parts (GPU, RAM, drives, displays). Tell us what's wrong in the form and we'll let you know if it's worth bringing in.
Do I need the original box or charger?
Chargers help (especially for laptops) and original boxes are a small plus, but neither is required. Bring what you have.
How fast do I get paid?
Once we inspect the machine in person and you accept the offer, it's done that visit, trade-in credit is applied immediately, and outright sales are paid out on the spot per store policy.
